Crumb Rubber technology dissipates the impact giving you 10,000 - 30,000 drops and reducing stress on the lifting bars. On the field tests have shown XM Crumb Rubber Bumpers bounce less than other high-end rubber bumper plates on the market. Less bounce equals less shock and less noise.
CERTIFIED VIRGIN RUBBER:
Unlike some weight plates, covered in Micronized Rubber Powder (MRP), Virgin Rubber is not made from processed end-of-life tire material and scrap rubber material. Virgin Rubber provides a more whole and tough covering for your weight plates.
NO NOXIOUS ODOUR:
Virgin Rubber doesn't have to undergo the same chemical treatment that gives basic rubber its unpleasant smell. The toxic odours that are associated with regular rubber are effectively eliminated, meaning working out in your gym won't irritate your sense of smell or give you a headache.

Weights 10lbs and 15lbs are not designed to be dropped when doing strength training unless combined with heavier weights (25lbs, 35lbs, 45lbs, and 55lbs). Dropping 10lbs or 15lbs plates alone above the hip will result in cracking or breaking. Failure to use properly will void the product warranty.
